Confused Barry Ferguson can’t seem to admit Celtic and Aberdeen reality, mocked by presenter

Who will finish second behind Celtic?

Ferguson admitted that when Celtic thrashed Aberdeen in the League Cup semi-final, he thought it was the beginning of the end for the Dons.

However, they have persisted and are unstoppable, even though Rodgers is facing a title threat this season from an unknown opponent.

Ferguson admitted that Aberdeen is “here to stay,” but when asked who he thought will place in the top two, he left Aberdeen out and was then made fun of by Paul Cooney, the host of Go Radio.

“There’s no denying that visiting St. Mirren is always challenging,” Ferguson remarked. For Aberdeen, that may be one banana skin. However, they have a lot of confidence. After being thrashed by Celtic in the semi-final, their victory over Dundee demonstrated that they had something. “That might be it,” you think. They will struggle as a result. However, they returned with a significant win over Dundee. Aberdeen, it proves they are here to stay. I never saw it. Now, though, I believe they are difficult.

“No,” Ferguson said in response to finishing in the top two. The pundit was then made fun of by host Paul Cooney, who said, “Barry Ferguson says they are back to stay.” Is it the first or the second? No. Third.

Ferguson then added: “But you have to give them credit. That was a big test for them. They couldn’t get near Celtic, let’s be honest. You think ‘right, that will hurt them’.”
