Harry Kane rates England’s 2026 World Cup chances as he gives Thomas Tuchel verdict

England’s Harry Kane has thrown his full support behind Thomas Tuchel, insisting the German is the right choice to lead the national team to victory at a major tournament.

Having played under Tuchel at Bayern Munich, the England captain is confident that Tuchel’s straightforward approach and tactical prowess can help the Three Lions triumph in tournaments.

Kane praised Tuchel’s qualities in an interview with ITV: “I think they have (the best man). He is straight talking if you are doing well or bad. He treats you like an adult and on the pitch he is demanding.

Despite his strong relationship with Tuchel, Kane admitted he was initially surprised by the appointment: “I was surprised to be honest. I was not expecting it. I worked with Thomas last year and had a really good relationship with him and expected him to go back to club football.
